One of the keys to my success is that I’m always learning. It helps me grow as a person and it helps me to improve my business. It’s about integrity and it’s important to me that I walk my talk. So I’m always looking for new inspiration to share with you and ways that I can add value to help you move more quickly to success. Today, I found this quote. I love it because it’s simple and it’s true.
If You Want To Be. Do.
This is THE secret to success. Good ideas don’t create success. Good ideas coupled with consistent effort and action is the foundation for success. Don’t waste your time looking for a magic bullet when this one tip will skyrocket your coaching business to profitability. Building a coaching business is a marathon, not a sprint. There is no one magic bullet. Realizing this is your ticket to freedom and it’s great news. Now, you no longer have to endlessly search for the one secret that only the “lucky” people can find. It means you can be totally successful too even if you’re not one of the lucky ones.
Arriving at success isn’t glamorous, it’s repeating the things that work over and over. To have a flourishing coaching practice there are really only a few things you need to do.
- Decide on who you help and what you help them achieve.
- Package it and establish your rates.
- Find new clients.
- Coach them expertly.
- Help and support them as they overcome their challenges.
- Ask for referrals.
- Keep in touch with past clients.
- Wash rinse and repeat.
You need to roll up your sleeves and keep showing up. It’s through these simple repeated actions that your business will grow.
When you use this quote to direct your business. You join the top 1% club by committing to take action. Remember too that it gives you a leg up on your competitors. Here’s why. Your Inner Critic is an area in your brain that has evolved to keep you safe. When you expect it to show up every time you try something new or stretch to reach a goal you can welcome the discomfort and act anyway. So many others have it backwards. They are surprised by the nervousness and they allow it to hold them back. What they don’t know is the minute you take action (even a small step) you get a burst of energy and inspiration which has a snowball effect. It excitedly prompts you to take the next inspired action and the next. So, welcome the discomfort every time you’re nervous reaching for a goal, it means inspiration is right around the corner as soon as you act.
I know it can take courage to show up and keep taking action. It’s so much easier if you have a coach, mentor and mastermind group you can lean on for support. My goal is to help you, grow your coaching practice. If you’re feeling overwhelmed schedule a complimentary 20-minute private Clarity Session with me HERE
