Adults need to play almost as much as kids.
Spending time in casual play will spark your creative ideas, help you chill out and you will find that you are so much more resilient to manage the tough stuff. Being immersed in play really gets the flow of energy moving in your body and your life
I hosted a seminar for a group of professional women some time ago. We talked about leading with emotional intelligence and avoiding burn out. I had brought some props with me to use for easy stress reduction hints. My Sanity Saving Play Dough was by far the best part of the event.
When I handed it out, they visibly relaxed and smiled. Each of the women played with the play dough for the rest of the presentation. They rolled it into balls, flattened it like a pancake, made letters out of it and sometimes just squished it through their fingers.
It was absolutely amazing to see the change this simple play dough made in them and I wanted to share the recipe so you can enjoy it too!
FRIENDLY WARNING: this is not play dough for your kids this is just for you, but I won’t tell if you share it with them too.
